I can't stop picturing my wife with someone from her past

We’ve been together a long time and what we have is genuinely good. The thing I can’t explain is a single image my mind keeps returning to, of her with someone from before me, the way she must have been. It isn’t jealousy exactly. It’s something more complicated that I’ve never had the words for, and never told her.
